The breakfast was hearty and well presented with fruit. The location of the hotel was perfect and nice - 10-15 minutes' walk from Plaza Charco. It was in a peaceful area and close to restaurants and bars.

The pool area is lovely too. Nicely furnished unit with a modern decor. Friendliness from the whole staff. Unbeatable and stunning location close to Gardens.

The staff is very helpfull. Nice lockation with respect to the city sights but you should be a well trained person for walking up many times every day. Exellent sound isulation. On the 1 floor they have nice rooms with huge terrace and fabulous view to the city and the sea. The food was good enough.
Uncomfortable pillows, no tent over the terrace, no tea/ coffee accessories in the room. Poor car choice in the hotel rent company, if you are going to Tenerife it would be better to book a car previously.

We totally recommend it for adults. The hotel was near to plaza del charco. Bar el camino is set 200 feet away from the property.

The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities round the pool were good.with the swimming pool sufficiently warm to swim in even in February.
The food was the main issue. " Basic" was a comment we read from another reviewer and that is the best you can say.We went on half board but would only return on bed and breakfast. There are plenty of good places to eat in the area. Also we were disappointed with the facilities of the Gym.Only one piece of equipment was working apart from some weights.

We've had a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel El Tope. Staff was extremely helpful, particularly a woman at the front desk called Nina. Free parking. The food was absolutely awesome. We've had a double-view room (mount Teide and the ocean) and the views were breathtaking.
We were a bit out of place at this hotel. We're a young couple, but most guests were senior German citizens (65+).

Very clean room, great view to the ocean. We enjoyed so much breakfast and dinner, the staff was very polite and nice. Nice women at the reception, very helpful. Also very good manager. We made the reservation in January at a higher price and we paid their current price in November. We apreciate the high importance that they give to their clients.
The fact that there were much more mature couples and old people than young couples, but that was not disturbing.

The accommodation was comfortable and provided a relaxing atmosphere.
Although the food was plentiful, it became monotonous.
